Rules & Regulations for boys' hostel

General Discipline
  • Every resident must uphold the values, discipline, and ethos of the school.
  • Students are expected to maintain courteous and respectful behaviour towards peers, staff, and visitors.
  • Hostel timings and daily schedules must be followed strictly.
  • Any form of bullying, ragging, intimidation, or misconduct is strictly prohibited.
  • Residents must maintain silence during study hours and after lights-out.
Attendance & Leave
  • Attendance is mandatory during roll calls and hostel assemblies.
  • Students may leave the hostel premises only with prior permission from the Hostel Warden and school authorities.
  • Leave applications must be submitted by parents/guardians through the prescribed procedure.
  • Students returning from leave must report directly to the Hostel Warden.
Room Maintenance
  • Hostel rooms must be kept neat, clean, and orderly at all times.
  • Students are responsible for the proper care of hostel furniture, fixtures, and school property.
  • Any damage caused intentionally will be charged to the concerned student.
  • Room inspections may be conducted periodically by hostel authorities.
Study & Academic Responsibility
  • Attendance during supervised study hours is compulsory.
  • Students are expected to complete assignments and maintain academic discipline.
  • Use of electronic devices during study hours is permitted only as per hostel guidelines.
Safety & Security
  • Students must not keep any hazardous, prohibited, or valuable items in the hostel.
  • Unauthorized electrical appliances are not allowed.
  • Residents must cooperate during safety drills and emergency procedures.
  • Hostel security protocols and visitor regulations must be followed strictly.
Dining Hall Etiquette
  • Students should maintain decorum and cleanliness in the dining hall.
  • Food wastage should be avoided.
  • Meals must be taken only during designated timings unless permitted otherwise.
Health & Hygiene
  • Personal hygiene and cleanliness are mandatory.
  • Students feeling unwell must immediately inform the Hostel Warden or medical staff.
  • Regular health check-ups and medical instructions must be adhered to.
Use of Mobile Phones & Gadgets
  • Mobile phone usage shall be governed by school and hostel policies.
  • Misuse of electronic devices, social media, or internet facilities is strictly prohibited.
  • Recording, photographing, or sharing content without permission is not permitted.
Prohibited Activities
  • Possession or use of tobacco, alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substance is strictly forbidden.
  • Gambling, vandalism, and any activity detrimental to the hostel environment are prohibited.
  • Any act that compromises the safety, dignity, or well-being of others will invite strict disciplinary action.
Code of Conduct
  • Every hostel resident is expected to display integrity, responsibility, self-discipline, and respect for diversity.
  • The Hostel Warden's decisions regarding hostel discipline and administration shall be final and binding.
